il Sereno Hotel

I had an absolutely incredible stay at Il Sereno on Lake Como. The views were simply breathtaking, and the service was beyond impeccable. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The option to take boats out onto the lake added an extra layer of adventure to our trip. Moreover, the convenience of the car service provided by the hotel was a fantastic touch. We had the greatest experience here, and I can't wait to return to this stunning paradise.

The only hotel RIGHT on the lake which makes the experience even better. You can arrive by car or by boat. Great staff, super professional, especially the Welcome Point Agents who are super friendly and kind. :) A modern hôtel designed by the famous Patricia Urquiola. Super luxurious and they have high standards in everything. The room was super clean, the bathroom amazingly made and the beds were so comfy. I would definitely come back again some day... Thank you Il Sereno staff, you made my stay in Torno memorable and amazing. ♥️

Sharing under my daughters account but this is the most fabulous hotel!! I am still reliving my experience daily even after being back at home for weeks. Thank you to the wonderful staff that makes Il Sereno the most special hotel we have ever visited. The attention to detail, luxury and anticipating guests needs is unmatched. A very special thank you to the manager Mateo who made sure our stay was beyond our expectations. Also special thank you to all the kind staff and especially Miriam, Massimo, Phillip and Gabriel and the very special bartender whose name is escaping me now but made sure I always had my favorite drink and olives at hand :). I can't wait to go back...thank you for the most magical vacation that made us feel we never had to leave the hotel bc we were already at the best lake Como had to offer. The only 5 star hotel I’ve ever seen to require a booking to have a drink at the bar! Turned away at the gate, yet your restaurant has bookings available online - too bad because it the drinks and service were good we’d have stayed for lunch. Enjoy your empty tables and 3.7 star rating for a Michelin restaurant guys - laughable.

Quite simply a true 5 star hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were whisked through a beautiful garden and walkway parallel to the lake. Welcomed with a delicious cocktail we were pleasantly surprised with a 2 level room upgrade and a bottle of champagne. The room was breathtaking. Lake views, spacious, modern and very clean. The pool is beautiful (and warm), the service impeccable, the people attentive to your every needs. We rented a self drive boat for 1 hour for 200 euro, neither of us had boating experience but that didn’t matter. We were shown everything beforehand and got to see some incredible views of the local towns. They also have an excellent spa which is free to use for guests, we enjoyed a sauna and jacuzzi. The breakfast was nice, plenty of options to choose from. The only slight negative was the restaurant in the evening but I’ll leave that to a separate review. Overall Il Sereno is a must visit when in Lake Como.
